Staff on spoil island prepping for summer camps

Welcome to Summer at the ELC!

From camps to drop in visits, pontoon tours and kayak rentals, membership, fundraisers, venue rentals and volunteer opportunities - the ELC is here for you!

We had a bit of a breather during the month of May after a very busy season, which allowed us to get all geared up for an amazing summer with over 350 1st grade-college age adventurers! If you are still looking for camps, we do have a few spots remaining, so please email linda@discoverelc.org to most easily secure your preferred week.

During summer as always, we are still welcoming families, groups, and any drop-in visitors 7 days a week. Our 64 acres can hold plenty of people for campus walks, picnics, enjoying our new features at our nature playscape, and Touch Tank. Plus our pontoon tours and kayak/paddleboard rentals are a great way to keep cool.

If you are not yet a member, we would encourage all local individuals and families to join. If you are not sure if your membership is current, please give us a ring so we can let you know your renewal date and make sure your membership stays current.

Please remember that ELC is an amazing event venue for all of your special events, birthday parties, family reunions, company picnics, corporate retreats, team building events and fundraisers. Check us out!

We have a great need for year-round volunteers so if you have any extra time and would like to get involved, please email volunteer at discoverelc.org or go on our website and fill out a volunteer application. We need help with canoeing and pontoon trips, landscape, info tables and fundraising. We also have openings for board members. It takes a lot of work to keep this place chugging along doing all of the things we do and we would love your help! https://www.discoverelc.org/volunteer

We are excited about our upcoming CPR for the IRL and lionfish tournaments in the Fall. Be sure to mark your calendars for March 1 for Mangroves, Moonlight, and Mykonos, our big annual fundraiser, which is always a blast.

Thanks for being a part of the ELC. It means the world!
